The Good Life | Wisdom, Wealth, and Wellness
Good morning, this is Jonathan Satovsky of Satovsky Asset Management and on today’s episode of “Seeking Wisdom, Wealth and Wellness – Vlog Style,” I want to reference the book “The Good Life,” in which a 70-year Harvard study tracked individuals to ascertain what makes up a good life.
This anecdote is just to share one simple concept, when asking millennials what makes a good life, 76 % say the number one thing is money. Well, being in the wealth management business, that I started at 23 years old, I had the same concept. And yet, now 30 years into it, no different than the Harvard study, the most meaningful and valuable part of this profession of wealth management, financial planning, investment advisory—that most millennials don’t understand—is the deep meaningful relationships.
We’ve been fortunate at SAM to work with many multi-generational families in their second. third, and in some cases, fourth generation with us. And man, you can’t measure that. That’s a joy beyond numbers!
So, think about that in every interaction, every day, on how you can plant seeds for deeper and more meaningful relationships for your own good life.
Have a great day.
