Tommy Tardie

02/04/2026

The short version? I like making things. I started my career in advertising and worked my way up to a Creative Director at some of Madison Avenue’s top agencies… think classic “Mad Men” territory. Over the years, I had the chance to build campaigns for brands like Pepsi, McDonald’s, Kirin, Swiss Army, and more. I loved the fast pace, the creativity, and the challenge. But after a solid run (and more late nights than I care to admit), that long-dormant entrepreneurial itch started to surface. So I made a leap into hospitality — without much restaurant experience but with a strong design sensibility, a background in marketing, and a good instinct for hiring. My first venue was a crash course in just about everything, but I was hooked. Fifteen plus years later, I’ve built multiple businesses that are profitable and built to run without me in the weeds every day. I focus on building systems, creating structure, and empowering teams to operate at a high level. My go-to mantra: work on the business, not in the business. I’m originally from a small town in Maine, where I learned the value of hard work and doing the right thing— lessons that still guide me today. I’ve got a long list of goals and a real passion for the process. I also make it a point to answer every knock — you never know what opportunity might be on the other side.
