Sherri Lancaster
Sherri joined the Satovsky team in July 2024 as a Client Service and Operations Manager with over 20 years of industry experience. She has a bachelor’s degree in education and was formerly a mathematics teacher. Sherri currently holds Series 7, 63 and insurance licenses. She has a passion for serving clients in the wealth management industry and has done so since 2003. She has two grown daughters and three grandchildren, and resides in NE Georgia.
A former military spouse and brat, in her spare time she enjoys thinking on her feet, reading, cooking and trying new restaurants, playing trivia and watching Jeopardy, volunteering for various charities, going to live music shows, and spending time with family.
What has driven you to your current career path?
In college, I always enjoyed my math classes the most. I am also a people person who truly enjoys getting to know and help others. As a former mathematics teacher who also loves serving clients, I found the perfect opportunity to meld those skills working in operations and client service within wealth management these past 20 years.
The best advice I have ever been given?
Take the time to really listen and put yourself in other’s shoes and try to see things from different perspectives. Learning to meet people where they are is a lifelong lesson I strive to do every day.
